The Lake County Chapter of California Women for Agriculture offers two scholarships: The $500 At-Large and the $250 Mendocino College. Applicants must be:
·        A Lake County Resident
·        A second year college student, maintaining a 3.0 grade point average
·        Enrolled for no less than 12 units for the 2008-09 college Fall Semester
·        Pursuing a degree in the field of Agricultural production or an agriculturally-related service
Please submit the following materials no later than May 1, 2008:
·        Completed Application
·        Two letters of recommendation, unless otherwise specified, preferably from a faculty member and an employer
·        Short Essay (approximately 100 words) of your educational goals, including: your educational intent and why you have chosen your specific major. What are you qualifications for your chosen field of study? What are you plans after you finish college?
